There could beseveral events taking place in the life of a child. They could bepredictable and unpredictable in nature. However, if the events arepredictable, children will be able to handle it properly on thecontrary, if events turn out to be unpredictable, it could bedifficult for the children to handle with care (Hauser-Cram et al.,2013).

The issue arisesdue to difference of opinions between the empiricists and thenativists. The empiricists believe that, the mind of a child whenborn will be an empty slate. It will be filled with knowledge onlywhen they are exposed to a certain learning environment.

On the otherhand, the nativists believe that, the human world has evolved a lotmore than before. As a result, the new generation will be morepowerful in terms of knowledge every time the genetic code changes,the knowledge level of an individual will increase.

Part-1:Studying Human Development

Socio-economicfactors will influence children in many ways. Children will learnabout the social customs and the economic factors that their familyis tied up with. If the family is rich, their growth will be betterand on the other hand, if the family is poor, they will face manystruggles in their life compared to the earlier case.

Consider anexample, wherein a child of rich family is provided with allsupports, assistance and reliefs to manage his daily life activities.On the contrary, a child of poor family will not have any suchresources and will be struggling for the basic necessities of life.Children might adapt to certain specific living conditions, and onthat basis, their lifestyle will be defined. However, it can impactthe way of living in a given environment.

Importance toCollege Career

The given studyon human development will help me understand the cognitive, physical,emotional and social development processes during childhood andadolescence. It will make me aware of the practices and principlesthat will facilitate students like me on human development.

The course willprovide knowledge about different processes of child development byputting emphasis on the various aspects. The course will also sharetheories, underlying assumptions and issues, so that I shall preparemyself accordingly for the future practical situations. I shall beable to focus upon these topics and, thereby, improve my knowledgeand learning in this field.

Part-2: PeerReviews

The review of thefirst peer seems to be focusing upon the subject areas that he willstudy during this subject. Further, he has mentioned how he willapproach each of these subjects and how they will turn to be usefulin his career development.

On the otherhand, based on the review of second peer, I have noticed that hisfocus is more upon practical training rather than understanding thetheoretical aspects in the given course. He wants to know the art ofhandling different cases of human development, and how he can assistwell to the respective individuals.

Firms have the ability to analyze massive datasets and derivemeaningful information from the same. For example, the organizationwill understand the most appropriate approach to selling products tocustomers.

SampleSize, Statistical Tests, and Outcomes

The sample size employed in a particular study is of criticalsignificance in determining the choice of the statistical test to beused and the eventual outcome of the results of the study (Zuur,Ieno, &amp Elphick, 2010). For example, a researcher who decides toconduct a survey to determine the pattern of voting for presidentialcandidates must ensure that they employ an appropriate method for thesame. If they were to carry out a survey of one hundred people andanalyze the results, the chances are that the outcome would beerroneous. The rationale for the same emanates from the fact thatpresidential votes are cast by many individuals negating the need tohave a massive sample size of more than one hundred participants. Planning of an appropriate sample size is essential to ensure thatresults derived from the analysis are statistically significant.
